Victorian Village is as beautiful with the crisp reflection on the pond as it is complimented dusted in snow. The scene is the first piece which pays tributed to Springfield inventor and philanthropist Everett H. Barney. He donated 178 acres of land to the City of Springfield for Forest Park and invented the all-metal clamp skates, which attached to normal shoes and were tightened with a key. Barney built the pond on which the lighting displays skate.
