Bright Nights Road Race


Not your ordinary walk in the park.

Run the 5k route through the magnificent lighting displays.

The race begins at the Seuss Land Arch (Walker Grandstand) to the Poinsettia Candles (Picknelly Field) and back to Seuss Land.

Registration Opening September 2018
Runners must be at least 14 years old on race day.

Race Details

Registration Fee - $50

Includes souvenir long-sleeve shirt, post-race soup supper at NEW Bright Nights Storage Facility and Bright Nights VIP Pass.

Limited to the first 500 completed and paid registrants

No post entries

No refunds

No runners under the age of 14 on race day

For participants, entrance is at the Trafton Road Gate - Cyr Arena 

Registration and post-race soup supper are in NEW Bright Nights Maintenance/Storage Facility

Check-In at 5PM

Race Starts at 6:30PM

Prizes are awarded in both male and female categories

Exit 6 off Mass Pike (I-90) to I-291 West (Springfield) to I-91 South. I-91 South to Exit 4 (Route 83/Main Street). Follow Route 83 with left at light, straight through next light, first right up Longhill Street, left at next light on to Sumner Avenue. Straight through two lights. Forest Park is on the right.

From CT:
Exit 2 off I-91 North, (Route 83/Forest Park/East Longmeadow). Straight through first light. Right at next light onto Route 83 South/Sumner Avenue. Straight through two lights. Forest Park is on the right.
