Springfield Thunderbirds

Springfield Thunderbirds

The Springfield Thunderbirds are the proud American Hockey League affiliate of the NHL's Florida Panthers. Thunderbirds games are not only the best place to see the next wave of future NHL stars, but also the perfect place to spend a night out with your friends and family.

Highlighting the Thunderbirds 2018 fall calendar are first-time events like the first ever OkT-BIRDfest (featuring a pregame beer tasting on Bruce Landon Way) on Saturday, October. 27 against Providence; Harry Potter Night on Saturday, November 17 against Lehigh Valley; Hockey Fights Cancer Night on Saturday, November 24 against Syracuse, honoring those who have valiantly fought; and the 2018 Send-Off on Friday, December 28 against Bridgeport.

The Thunderbirds will also bring back fan favorites like the 3rd Annual Teddy Bear Toss on Sat., December 8 against Charlotte, where fans can throw new stuffed animals onto the ice in celebration of the Thunderbirds' first goal of the game. Bears will, in turn, be delivered to underprivileged children in the Springfield area at the holiday. Popular weekly promotions like 3-2-1 Fridays ($3 Coors Light Drafts, $2 Hot Dogs, $1 Sodas) will also be back in the fold in the 2018-19 season, as well as the MGM Springfield Pregame Concert Series.
